Hofmann’s, Henley-on-Thames – Client Hospitality
Overview
Hofmann’s own and manage a very successful dealership in Henley-on-Thames. They have an impressive showroom and offer a diverse range of skills in the workshop/parts department for brands such as Toyota, Mercedes, VW, BMW, and Lotus. Many of their staff have been with the business for decades, gaining expertise in restoring vintage Bentleys, Jaguars, and Lagonda’s.
Chris Randall, the Managing Director asked Adams Group to run a hospitality day at Brands Hatch. The focus being on the very competitive Fun Cup, which Chris and his teammate Scott take part in. The demands of a race day can be quite extreme, and Chris and his team needed support to look after their guests and make sure they all had a fabulous time (and experience first-hand how a race day runs).
Our Approach
With the agency’s experience in engineering, motorsport, and engine rebuilds/manufacture, we were chosen as the perfect partner for the April race meeting. Brands Hatch is one of the UK’s premier circuits and was the perfect venue. The chosen suite overlooked the start/finish line and the entire Indy track was visible. Adams Group understanding of race days allowed the team at Hofmann’s to spend time talking to customers and building relationships, which is so important to the success of the business as Hofmann’s expands and moves into the future. A bright sunny Spring day was enjoyed by all and afterwards, Chris received many emails thanking him for the wonderful day. We received some fabulous client testimonials in appreciation of the agency support, which is always much appreciated.
The Result
Chris and Scott both drove a great race and finished second overall on the podium. This was a remarkable achievement as they encountered a challenging driver change over, which took a little longer than was ideal. Without that,
they would have been overall winners, well done to the guys!
