Persimmon Homes are one of the UK’s largest house builders and have been through a complete rebrand of the business during the last 12 months. Adams Group were tasked with producing a short video to demonstrate to Persimmon staff how the brand has been applied to one of the company’s Marketing suites at Wellington Gate, near Wantage, in the Thames Valley.
The agency created brand collateral that could be applied across the Persimmon brochure and give a new look to the company website.
What we did
The agency used drone footage, as well as conventional footage, and was edited to give a complete overview of the new brand and how it’s been applied to their latest Marketing suite. This enabled the management and staff throughout the organisation to see how the new branding will look and feel when applied to their own Marketing suites across the UK.
The video features the outside signage and lighting, both in daylight hours and whilst illuminated at night. Also, the interior fixtures and fittings, which were also redesigned to give a more modern and functional feel. The agency utilised a smaller drone to enable it to fly around the outside promotional areas and then fly directly into the Marketing suite in one continuous shot. This is not something that could have realistically been contemplated a few years ago with large, cumbersome drones. We are now able to use smaller A4 sized drones which are very light, yet strong and have protected blades. This enables them to fly inside buildings and help visualise and tell a story. Technology has had huge impact in areas like video production and now helps make the impossible, possible.

On the launch day, the video was instantly viewed by 2000 Persimmon staff and thousands more over the next few days.
