The Appliance Centre has just started out on their business journey selling enviable home appliances from top international brands, giving us a unique opportunity to establish their digital presence and enable the company to trade online.

Aims

We aimed to create and launch a responsive ecommerce website for The Appliance Centre, enabling site visitors to navigate easily through the range of top-end home appliances and accessories.

 

The approach to the help elevate the site above the realm of online digital discounter, to that of a premium purveyor of luxury appliances from the likes of Sub-Zero & Wolf and Miele, with more to follow.

 

We incorporated some great features such as sharable wish lists, request for quotes and a mobile friendly platform for secure online transactions.

What we did

 

Our team designed and developed The Appliance Centre website to be effortlessly browsed through the well thought out & clearly defined product categories. By using an advanced menu and filtering system, we provided an intuitive online shopping experience – which is extremely important with websites that contain hundreds of items and specifications.

 

Once the agency had refined, and honed the product offering, we were then able to segregate the products without the fear of visitors becoming lost on the site.

 

On the backend the products and orders are easily managed, lowering the administrative overhead of running a large online retailer.

 

Furthering the user experience was an important aim of the web development project, so useful functionality such as a personal wish list system and the ability to create a list of products and request a quote, were implemented into the ecommerce website.

 

The client wanted to ensure that the whole online shopping experience of the Appliance Centre website was not just about click & buy, but also about engagement and “good old fashioned good deals at a fair price” – and the client is extremely happy with the end result.

 

Finally, the team optimised the site to ensure that the products and business feature effectively on search engine results pages, as well as having an overall premium user experience.
